…Commends Governor Bello, APC Leaders and Ankpa Federal constituency for bringing this home.

The member representing Idah Federal Constituency, Hon. David Idris Zacharias has congratulated his colleague, the member representing Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro Federal Constituency, Hon. Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims on his emergence as the Deputy Majority Leader of the 10th National Assembly.

The member in a statement through his media office also commended the Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello, the All Progressives Congress and good people of Ankpa Federal constituency for their support saying “without them returning him, he wouldn’t have joined the league of ranking member talk more of becoming a deputy majority leader”.

I wish to congratulate my dear brother, Hon. Abdullahi Halims on this milestone achievement, I’m personally happy about his attainment as deputy majority leader of the National Assembly because it creates a pathway towards greatness of our dear kogi state.

I also wish to also thank and appreciate our leader, His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kogi state, Gov. Yahaya Bello, All Party leader in the state and the good people of Ankpa federal constituency for entrusting him with the mandates and the general votes that returned him elected. To me, the people of the constituency deserve our commendation for their trust and believe in Abdullahi leadership prowess, he said.

I urge him to continue delivering on his mandate to his people as he begins this new phase of assignment in the history of legislative activities, he concluded.
