2019 election: Cleaning services boss lauds Gov Bello’s commitment to better Kogi
The Executive Director of Hal-Nusan and Associate, a cleaning outfit in the state capital, Abubakar Sadiq has extolled Governor Yahaya Bello’s zeal and commitment for a better Kogi and urged the people to re-elect him for a second term.
Sadiq who is popularly known as Bomboy made the remark at a gathering with some of his employees and political associates on Friday in Lokoja, the state capital.
He said the emergence of Governor Bello in January 27, 2016 gave the state capital which was hitherto adjudged as one of the filthiest state capitals in Nigeria a new appearance.
“The Executive Director noted, “In fact, human feces and patches of urine spots were common sights even in the nooks and crannies of government premises such as ministries, agencies and parastatals amongst others.
“To reverse the highly prevalent situation, Governor Yahaya Bello brought and engaged a couple of cleaning outfits to give the state capital a facelift.
“As a matter of fact, the impact of the highly result-oriented cleaning services was soon seen and felt by everyone to the extent that even those who administered the state before Governor Bello, including civil servants have had to commend him for the effort.”
According to him, over a hundred young energetic, vibrant youths have been gainfully employed through the support of the governor in the establishment and hiring of the various cleaning services in the state.
Speaking further, he added, “I know if Governor Yahaya Bello is given another four years, he will suppass his present achievements.”
“The governor and his running mate are tested and trusted leaders with visionary leadership style. We are ready as a team to explore available avenues that will afford the governor and his running mate, Hon. Edward Onoja the opportunity to win with a wide margin.
