2023: Group Mobilize Youths for Yahaya Bello in Lagos
In their quest to support the Governor of Kogi State, a political group PYB has initiated efforts to mobilize youths across the Country for his Presidential ambition come 2023.
President Yahaya Bello (PYB) 2023 is a political organization based in Lagos whose motive is to galvanize members of All Progressive Congress across the nation in preparation for the Convention and primaries which will hold soon.
The convener of PYB, Hon. Ayodele Adewunmi mentioned in his speech that the Party, APC needs to be in tune with the reality that the country seeks a charismatic personality whose proven works are obvious and beneficial to the people of Kogi State.
While addressing a cross section of youths across all the geopolitical zones in Lagos, he stipulated that Governor Bello’s penchant and love for the people knows no bounds.
In his words, since 1999, Nigeria have not had someone as youthful as the Governor who has performed beyond reasonable doubt.
“Without mincing words, if Bello has performed better as Governor, he can do so much more as President of the country”, he said.
Representing the Governor at the occasion, the Kogi State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Hon. Remi Jones stressed that the personality and impressions of the Governor should be emulated across the country.
He noted that he has shown with deep sense of responsibility and concern that the entity called Nigeria is blessed with human and capital resources that can be harnessed with multiple results and benefits.
The commissioner gave instances of the Governor’s effort in bringing together people with differences and his determination to set the record straight that as humans, no matter where we come from, we can live together in peace and harmony sighting examples of what it used to be with past administrations since the creation of the State.
“Igala, Igbira and any other tribes in the State regardless of where he or she comes from is one and we are all Nigerians”.
” The issue of inequality, tribalism and stigmatization have no place in Kogi State, even in all the Ministries; we can categorically say that everyone is at peace with each other; Nigeria will produce unimaginably great results and solutions to many of our challenges if Yahaya Bello emerges as the President”, he added.
“Bello has surpassed UNESCO’s guidance on education; the Governor’s budget on education is well over the requirements and he doing so close to what Awolowo did during his time. So what we need is a revolution of the ballot; the Youth should liberate themselves by voting a youthful President”.
In his own remark, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Youth and Student Affairs, Hon. Ahmadu Jubril affirms that he is the best among others in inclusiveness of youth and women in his administration because he believes in their strength and potentials.
In his opinion, youth constitutes up to 60 to 70 percent of the country’s population, it means there is a lot we can achieve when a youthful Governor like Yahaya Bello gets the top job.
“He is a detribalised figure that will turn around any hopeless situation and he has been doing so in Kogi State; we need him at the helms of affairs as President, there is no other time better than now”,he submitted.
In this vein, those who spoke in the same manner and confidence that the Governor is the best choice APC can make to complement what President Buhari has done so far include the Senior Special Assiatant on Cultural Integration, Kemi Olawunmi, and Ozigi Michael, Senior Special Assistant on Print Media
