2023: GYB parley with Okene/Ogori-Magongo, Lokoja/Kogi Fed. Const. APC executives
Governor Yahaya Bello as the leader of the All Progressive Congress in Kogi state has stepped up efforts to synergise with party executives from the state to the ward levels as part of his strategic move to further deepen the democratic ideals of the party and ultimately secure victory for the party in the 2023 elections.
At a meeting in government house with stakeholders from Okene/Ogori-Magongo, Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituencies, Gov Yahaya Bello has applauded their efforts, support and commitment of party chairmen and ward exco’s to his administration while calling for more support in the 2023 elections.
He called for unity and loyalty among stakeholders and members of the party while noting that with the continuous and collective resolve to stick together as a people under the same party the true essence of unity which has helped them forge ahead through these years as a party will not be overturned by infiltrators.
He charged Stakeholders to embrace Peace and to play by the rules as that has been the manner of the APC in Kogi state.
Governor Bello further warned against anti-party activities nothing that such activities will not be entertained in the party. He assured Stakeholders that an upgraded Bello Care program will be launched in a few days, stressing that the app is specifically designed to address not only health issues but also grassroots agitations without interception.
“Through this app, you’ll have access to me and other benefits of the party directly, no more third parties,” he said.
“Don’t be deceived, APC will win in Nigeria, particularly in Kogi state 100%” he said.
Speaking earlier, The State Chairman of the party, Hon Abdullahi Bello praised the commitment and loyalty of stakeholders from the Federal Constituencies while acknowledging their role in deepening the reach of democracy and playing a pivotal role in the success of APC in the fast approaching elections. He therefore, charged them to remain committed to the success of the party.
The deputy governor Chief Edward Onoja, in his vote of thanks, expressed gratitude to governor Bello for narrowing the gap and making himself directly available to stakeholders at the grassroots level.
He charged stakeholders at various levels to mobilize their supporters at various units to vote massively for the party and should ensure that all APC candidates emerge winners at the General Elections in 2023.
