4th Year Anniversary; Gov Bello hails King Ateke Tom of Okochiri Kingdom, describes him as a pillar of peace in Niger Delta Region »

Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State has joined well-wishers and the people of Niger Delta region to congratulate the Amanyanabo of Okochiri town, King Ateke Tom as he celebrates his 4th year anniversary on the throne.

Governor Bello in his congratulatory message to the Ex-Niger Delta warlord, King Ateke Michael Tom, described him as a pillar of peace and bedrock of development and economic growth in Rivers State and the Niger Delta at large. The Governor who was represented by the Deputy Speaker of Kogi State, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed says the people of Niger Delta region have enjoyed maximum unity, peace and development having him on the throne.

His words in part; “On behalf of his Excellency the Governor of Kogi State, I congratulate you great King of the Niger Delta region for the positive impact you have created within four years as King. As a fighter and defender of the people and region you have stabilized the Niger Delta. within four years you have initiated several peace moves aimed at sanitizing the region of militancy and other related problems. The Government of Kogi State give kudos to you who for bringing relative peace and security. And we hope that not too long from now, we will be able to work together in a more structured manner for the overall security, unity and peace of our dear country Nigeria”.

The people of Okochiri, Okrika Local Government Area of Rivers State today 27th November, 2021 celebrates the fourth Year anniversary of King Ateke Michael Tom, the Amanyanabo of the community and also the official opening and dedication of his Palace (SEKURO PALACE)
