8th KSHA: Chief Onoja Congratulates Newly Inaugurated State Assembly Members, Urges Teamwork »

The Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Chief (Dr) Edward Onoja warmly congratulates all the newly-inaugurated members of the 8th Kogi State House of Assembly, charging them to roll up their sleeves for the task ahead to justify the confidence reposed in them.

The Deputy Governor extends his congratulatory notes specifically to the newly-elected Speaker of the House, Hon Umar Aliyu (Assignment), the Deputy Speaker, Hon Enema Paul, and other members of the 8th Assembly Leadership hierarchy, charging them to champion a sense of belonging to all members and lead by example.

Chief Onoja stated these in a goodwill message signed in Lokoja by his Chief Press Secretary, Promise Emmanuel on June 6, 2023, where he also admonishes the newly-inaugurated members to foster a harmonious working relationship with other arms of government in the State and work together through bills and motions that will attract better dividends of democracy to the people.
