Muslim Community in Ogugu declares support for Bello

Members of the Muslim community in Ogugu District of Olamaboro Local Government Area of Kogi State have declared their unalloyed support for the government of Kogi State.

They also assured the governor that their votes in subsequent elections are for the APC as the government has proven worthy of their backing.

Speaking on behalf of the group, Mallam Kola Umoru said during a visit to the Chief of Staff to Kogi State Governor, Hon Edward Onoja on Monday that they have watched his activities  closely and found him an exemplary son of the area.

The spokesman said since Onoja's appointment, he has made so much impact in the development of the area than any son of Igugu in memory and lauded him for the several developmental efforts that transverse the length and breadth of the land.

Reeling out some of the notable achievements of Edward Onoja across Ogugu Community, he mentioned provision of portable water in all parts of the area, building and rehabilitation of healthcare centers, youth empowerment and the construction of Ibana-Okpo-Ikeje-Ogugu-Ette road that is almost completed already.

The clergyman therefore noted that the only way they want to appreciate Yahaya Bello's administratio for making such impact in Olamaboro LGA was to vote massively for all the APC candidates in the forthcoming general elections.

While thanking the group for their visit and support for the government, Hon Onoja stated that when the people are united, development will surely come.

Speaking on the 2019 general election, the Chief of Staff said the presidential election which is majorly between President Muhammadu Buhari and Atiku Abubakar is like the battle between light and darkness.

He said Buhari has revolutionized agriculture and he is building infrastructure across the states of the federation and urged them to vote massively for the APC in the coming election.
