Fmr Kogi Guber aspirant launches Bello/Onoja Advocacy Group
As the steam of political activities hots up for the November 16, governorship election in Kogi, a former aspirant and woman leader of All progressive Congress(APC) in Olamaboro local government, Blessing Aisha Ekele has launched ‘Bello/Onoja 2019 advocacy group’, to drum support for governor Yahaya Bello second term bid.
The Ojibo Igah that led all his subordinate traditional chiefs in the ward to the launching of the advocacy group commended her excellency, Magajia1, Ekele for her consistency in her political life, saying that they will follow her any where she goes politically; even as the monarch pleaded to the authority in Lugard House, Lokoja to include his name in the next grading of chiefs in the state.
HRM Chief Shaibu said that since Ekele assumed leadership of the party in the Igah ward 4, things like welfare packages meant for the ward which was a sad story before have started going round to the concerned because of her benevolent spirit and the love of her people.
In the same vein, the Igah ward 4 APC chairman, Lawrence Okwoli who led the party executive members to flag up the “Bello/Onoja 2019 advocacy group”, urged the people of the ward and the council to vote enmasse for Bello/Onoja ticket for him to complete the ongoing projects that are abound in the state.
However, it was gathered that plan has reached an advance stage to launch “Bello/Onoja 2019 advocacy group” in the capital city, Lokoja, shortly after her Excellency official appreciation visit to the palace of Yakanajie kingdom this weekend to thank the people of Uke for honouring her with the prestigious tittle of magajia 1 of their kingdom.
