Revisiting the security midas touch of Hon Amodu Ibrahim Destiny in Ofu LGA in the past week »

To say that few days into assumption of office, Hon Amodu Ibrahim has established himself as a man that knows his onions is to stress the obvious as demonstrated in past week where he organised a Sensitization/Awareness Campaign against the spread of the Pandemic Coronavirus as part of his primary duty of securing the lives of the people of the area.

Hon. Amodu Ibrahim took proactive step by calling on two Stakeholders each from the 11 Wards to converge on Ugwolawo to avoid Crowd for the sensitization program.

He thanked his Mentor, Governor Yahaya Ojochenemi Bello for taking the health of his People as top priority.

The SSA on Security enjoined all indigenes to adhere strictly to all Preventive/Precautionary measures to avoid its spread.

Responding, the Stakeholders promised to take the message to the People at Ward level to keep them abreast of the various ways to avoid its spread.
The high point of the sensitization program was the distribution of Precautionary items like: Rubber buckets with lid for regular washing of hands under running water.
Liquid soap
Hands sanitizers
Nose masks
Handgloves, etc

These items were distributed to Stakeholders from the 11 Wards to placed at strategic locations at Mosques, Churches & other crowded places.

HON. AMODU IBRAHIM DESTINY RECEIVED SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS (SDG) TEAM ON A BASELINE SURVEY FOR WATER & SANITATION

Hon. Amodu received the SDG Team led by Mr Henry at Ugwolawo.
The aim of the Survey is for random sampling of opinions from selected Community people to ascertain their sources of Water & waste disposal means.

Only Two Local Govt Areas were selected from Kogi East:
1.Ofu LGA – Ugwolawo Community &
2.Olamaboro LGA.

With Amodu Destiny’s starting point, the good People of OFU LGA will experience great turnarounds in democratic dividends to his People.

3.SSA TO GYB ON SECURITY TO OFU LGA. HON. AMODU IBRAHIM FORMS STRONG SYNERGY WITH ALL SECURITY AGENCIES TO CURB CASES OF KIDNAPPING, ARMED ROBBERY, CULTISM, TRADITIONAL TITTLE TUSSLES & OTHER RELATED
MATTERS THAT WERE INHERENT BEFORE HIS EMERGENCY.

The appointment of Hon. Amodu Destiny by His Excellency Governor Yahaya Ojochenemi Bello is the best so far in history for the People of OFU LGA.
Hon. Amodu is living No stone unturned in the fight against Crimes & Criminality in Ofu LGA.
This is evident in the synergy with relevant conventional Security agencies for 24/7 Patrol on Itobe -Ajegu Road to curb & checkmate the activities of Kidnappers & Armed Robbery on that route
