Covid-19: Igalamela SSA security shuts down Ajaka Market

Ajaka market in Igalamela-Odolu local government have been shut down in adherence with the directive of the state to avert the spread of the deadly Coronavirus in the state.

The closure was ensured by the Senior Special Assistant on Security to Kogi state governor for Igalamela-Odolu local government, Hon. Onoja James Omachonu with some batches of security agencies.

“Myself and the other security bodies in this local government will ensure full adherence of all residents to the stipulated precautionary measures given by the state government. It’s for our own good and we will not take chances”, Hon Onoja said.

The SSA urged the people of the local government not to panic as government is working round the clock to mitigate mitigate the suffering of the people in this period.

He commended the security agencies for their efforts and collaboration in making sure residents of the local government comply strictly with government’s directives.

It could be recalled that Hon. Onoja recently distributed hand sanitizers to the people of the local government and urged them to maintain the social distancing and self isolation measures to protect themselves from the virus.
