Eid-el Fitr: Alhaji Yahaya Adama tasks Muslims on lessons of Ramadan
The Chairman of Suleiman Baba-Ali Network Foundation, Alhaji Yahaya Adama has urged Muslim faithful not to deviate from what they learnt and imbibed during the month of Ramadan but continue on the path of righteousness and fear of Allah.
This was contained in a statement issued by the spokesperson of the group, Comrade Yakubu Abubakar where believers were also urged to reflect on their lives and the need to have positive impact on the society.
He stressed that without the virtues of love, accommodation and sacrifice, religion would make no meaning and peace would elude the society.
While wishing all Muslims a Happy Eid-el Fitr celebration, the Chairman of the foundation called on citizens of Kogi State to continue to pray for sustained economic recovery and for Peace and Unity of Nigeria.
Alhaji Adama noted that the benefactor of the foundation, Alhaji Suleiman BabaAli, who is a man of peace, has always led the group to the path of peace, love, support for government policies and programmes and the need to spread the same message to all citizens of Kogi which they are doing with passion.
He enjoined the government of Alhaji Yahaya Bello to continue to ensure the security of lives and property of his subjects across the State in order to have the enabling environment for prosperity.
He however appealed to all citizens to comply with security measures put in place by the government on the social distancing and full cooperation with the Security Agencies who have been tasked to work round the clock to ensure that the festivity is celebrated peacefully in the State.
