The Coordinators Forum of Kogi State Chapter National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) has felicitated the Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello and the Muslim community in the state on the occasion of the completion of this year’s Ramadan fasting and the celebration of Eid – el – Fitr.

Chairman of the Forum, Comrade Obas Adesina made the assertion in a press statement made available to newsmen in Lokoja and signed by the forum’s Director of Media and Publicity, Yabagi Mohammed.

Comrade Adesina in the statement prayed for continued wisdom for the Governor and his cabinet to continue to pilot the affairs of the state towards progress and development.

While congratulating Muslim youths in the state on the auspicious occasion, he informed the state government that the forum had prevailed on Muslims to use the period of Ramadan to pray for foresight for Governor Bello and his cabinet to continue to attract unprecedented growth to Kogi state.

In Comrade Adesina’s voice; “Well, even as we felicitate the Governor and the Muslims in the state, especially the youth demographic that we represent, I must say that our fervent prayers during the Ramadan have been answered.

“If you watch, despite the Coronavirus Pandemic that has been causing pandemonium around the globe, Kogi has faired well under the amiable leadership of Governor Yahaya Bello. This was part of our prayers for God to grant him wisdom and he showed it.

“As youths, we will continue to mobilise one another in every way we can to ensure the young ones take front rows in the implementation of government policies and programmes because we have never had it so good until now. We now have a sense of belonging as a Youth Council.”
