Council polls: Group Throws Weight Behind Hon. Destiny »

A socio political association, “Committee of Good Three friends” has thrown a heavy weight behind the Chairmanship ambition of the current Senior Special Assistant on security to the Governor of Kogi State in OFU LGA, Hon. Amodu Ibrahim Destiny.

The group made the revelation during a meeting when the LG Boss honoured an invitation he was served. The association through it’s President, Attai Ifayomi declared that they are solidly behind the incumbent SSA on the forth coming local government election.

Ifayomi noted that they have seen that in the history of Ofu Local Government, no administration has ever cared so much for the people of the area. While thanking Hon. Destiny for honouring their invitation, he pointed out that the association can be counted upon in his quest to becoming the Chairman of the local government.

Hon. Destiny in response thanked them for choosing against all odds to openly declare their support for him, he told them that his office is opened to all and sundry any day and time. The local government Boss promised to fight for more dividends of Democracy for Ofu constituents if given the chance in the coming elections.
