Kogi State government delegation visits family of late officer Arotile

Kogi State government today paid a condolence visit to the family of late Flying Officer Tolulope Arotile at their GRA home in Lokoja, Kogi State.

Deputy Governor of the state, Chief Edward Onoja led the high powered delegation on behalf of Governor Yahaya Bello.

Edward Onoja who conveyed the message of the Governor prayed God to console the family and grant them the grace to bear the loss. He eulogized the fallen heroine whom he said has left a record and have become a shining example for the Girl-Child in Nigeria, adding that, although she died at a prime age of 25, she lived a life with great impact like Jesus Christ who also died at the age of 33 after an impactful world ministry.

In his words, “she was a star, not just a star but a national star”, describing the loss as a state and national one.

The delegation prayed for the peaceful repose of the soul of the deceased and asked for God’s presence to strengthen the family in enduring the pains occasioned by the tragic loss.

The delegation comprises of the Secretary to the State Government, Dr Mrs Folashade Ayoade Arike, the State Security Adviser, Navy Commander Jerry Omodara, The Deputy Chief of Staff, Hon. Sunday Faleke, Commissioners, APC chieftain, and other stakeholders.
