Ejura Onoja Mourns Akowe, former Dekina Council Boss
Wife of Kogi State Deputy Governor, Mrs Ejura Onoja has expressed grief over the death of Hon. Adejo Akowe, a former Chairman of Dekina Local Government Area who died Friday.
“It is with pain in my heart, I commiserate with the immediate family of the deceased and the people of Dekina on this great loss. He was like a big brother and a friend to my husband.”
“I pray that, God Almighty will give his family and the state, the fortitude to bear the loss.”
Mrs Onoja who described Late Akowe Adejo as one of the pillars of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Dekina, prayed for Allah’s Forgiveness for the reposed.
“We will forever remain appreciative of his contributions to the development of the state and the nation in general.
“He was a great treasure as an elder, whose exemplary leadership qualities earned him respect from around.
Wife of the Deputy Governor who spoke through her aide, Halimat Isah in Abuja urged his family members to treasure the legacy the late political icon left behind.
