APC Critical National Convention: Engr Bashir Gegu congratulates Gov Bello on appointment »

Kogi State Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Engr Abubakar Bashir Gegu has congratulated Governor Yahaya Bello over his appointment by the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to Chair its Security and Special Engagement Committee for Next Month’s Critical National Convention.

The Commissioner who made the statement in a press statement he made available to journalists shortly after the news broke on Wednesday said the appointment has demonstrated once again, the high rating the Governor has within the party and the country at large.

He said the Governor has demonstrated capacity to deliver in all assignments given him so far by the party, noting that the country could only move forward if people like the Governor and the youths were given responsibilities according to their carrying capacity.

The Commissioner who expressed the belief that Governor Bello would once again show his ability to manage security at the event noted that the country was moving in a trajectory that shows that people like Governor Yahaya Bello was needed to make things work again.

He prayed Allah to grant the Governor the ability to deliver, adding that going forward, the youths would understand why their counterparts across the country are clamouring for him to lead the nation in 2023.

The Commissioner, who also congratulated others that have been appointed along the Governor, urged them to give him the necessary support for him to succeed in the assignment.
