2023: I will soon respond to calls by well meaning Nigerians

The Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello says Nigerians’ search for an individual who can address the Nation’s unity, Insecurity and Economic Prosperity is why the people are desirous of having him as the nation’s President come 2023, but urged them to be patient as soon he would make a categorical statement on their demand.

The Kogi State Governor made the promise while answering a question on what and why he thinks has informed the people’s call by several Nigerians to have him aspire to be the Nation’s President.

Gov. Bello spoke at the day two of the ongoing first Annual GYB Seminar for Nigeria’s Political and Crime Correspondents holding at the Transcorp Hilton Abuja, said very soon he will make his position known to the calls.

Gov. Bello said since the nation’s challenges rest on unity, insecurity and economic prosperity, and stressed because he has achieved so much in that area of governance in the State, it has lead to the clarion calls, assured that he will make categorical statement on the calls soon.

He disclosed that his becoming Governor of Kogi State in 2019 was by divine intervention, said that has helped him to drive governance with empathy, love and the love of the people at heart.

He said the desire by the people to have him as President is borne out of the achievements he has made in the areas desired by the people, assured that if by the Grace of God he accepts to run, assured that he has the capacity to replicate same as President of the Country
