The Chairman of Kogi Youth Development Commission Mr Lawal Ozomata James has applauded Pharmacist Abdulkareem Asuku Youth Empowerment Foundation and the CEO, Pharmacist Abdulkareem Asuku Jamiu for reviving the culture of reading in our schools.

The chairman said the recent quiz competition organized for Secondary school students in Kogi State has reinvigorated the spirit of reading in our schools which he said has long lost to new trend of socialization.

“The quiz competition organized by PAAYEF has brought to life the reading culture in our schools. With the competition and the prize tag to be won, it will spur the students to drop their android phone phones, watching of African Magic and BB9JA and create time for their books in order to participate and win. The students knows that they must read to win so the reading habit is gradually returning to the school system.”

The chairman extolled pharmacist Abdulkareem Asuku Jamiu for giving health and education priority in his foundation.

“Education is the bedrock of development in any society. The best investment any government and individual can stake their resources in is education. I want to appreciate pharmacist Asuku for solving societal ills through his educational intervention”

Mr Lawal Ozomata James urge all the students that participated not to relent in continuous reading. He stated that, both the winner and other participants have shown high level of intelligence.

Mr Lawal Ozomata who prayed for PAYEFF and her CEO for more strength call on government and other stakeholders in the education sector to support PAYEFF and encourage more well meaning individuals to key in for more educational programs for our teaming youths.
