…as gov. Bello harps on party unity, oneness

The All Progressive Congress in Kogi State have affrimed, Abdullahi Bello as the Chairman of the Party alongside other State, Zonal party executives.

The Party which held it’s state congress at the Confluence Stadium in lokoja witnessed delegates’ consensus of the new party executive.

Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello in his remark asserted that the seamless process of the Kogi State All Progressive state Congress was yet an example of practical leadership being witnessed in the party.

He stressed that the APC in the state have imbibed the spirit on oneness, togetherness and unity which has characterized the conducts of its activities in time pass, currently and would in the future.

He expressed that former party leaders who could not make it back in this current leadership were not left out because of lack of qualification but in rather in Kogi state APC, members have absolute respect and regard for the leadership and the dictates of the party with a focus on cooperation, mutual respect and support for each other.

The Governor added that under the former leadership the party delivered 100% at all previous electoral outings and that no one would be left behind in the affairs of things and they would be recognized to play various roles in the state and the party.

He assured the continued display of peace, unity and love for one another in the state and the Party stressing that gone were the days of divisions along ethnic or religious lines.

While expressing confidence in the party’s victory in 2023 and other subsequent outings, he noted that fairness, equity and justice would be the watch word in the process of selecting those who would emerge to fly the flag of the party and that not under his watch would any party member experience suppression.

In his address the returned Chairman of the Party, Abdullahi Bello expressed gratitude to the leadership of the party for the entrusting him to lead the APC again, noting that he would not in anyways disappoint the trust reposed in him by the party leadership and members while him alongside his executive members would continue to give the party a strong footing in the state.
