Kogi East Senator, Isah Jibrin empowers constituents with agric tools, cash »

The Senator representing Kogi East at the National Assembly, Sen. Isah Jibrin (Echocho) has empowered his constituents with cassava processing materials, starts-ups to encourage agri-business.

The empowerment programme facilitated by Echocho through the office of Nigeria Productivity Centre drew beneficiaries from the nine local government areas in Kogi East, and was held yesterday at the Skill Acquisition Centre recently built by the Senator.

The Beneficiaries having undergone training in Cassava Processing during the empowerment program were also giving start-up capital and cassava processing materials.

Speaking at the event, The legislative aide to Senator Isah Jibrin, Ibarahim ahmadu appreciated the senator for his Immense contribution to both human capital and infrastructure development In Kogi East.

He said the empowerment Programme is aimed at teaching the beneficiaries to be self reliant and to also contribute the quotas to economic growth of their communities.

He assured the people of Kogi East constituency of more dividends of democracy, saying that the Senator is more than ever committed to doing more for the people.
