Christian Education: Theology school decorates Chief Onoja as Patron

The Bible Life School of Theology, affiliated with the Third Millennium Bible Institute, USA, has decorated Kogi State Deputy Governor, Chief (Dr.) Edward Onoja (CIK) as its Patron, saying he bears the adequate leadership and theological curriculum vitae to serve in the said capacity.

The Investiture of Chief Onoja as Patron of the School took place during its maiden Convocation Ceremony and Award of Certificates to graduands, holden at the Gospel Ministries International Auditorium in Lokoja, on Friday.

In their varied remarks, Rector of the School, Dr. Emeka Ogbuju, Registrar, Dr. Emmanuel Ajulo, Chairman of Governing Council, Bishop Dr. Ted Bako, and wife of the Kogi State CAN Chairman, Bishop Dr. John Ibenu, said the Bible Life School is envisioned to provide teaching and training, whilst eliminating the ignorance of fundamental scriptural doctrines, and introducing applied biblical wisdom to life and Ministry.

They espoused that the decision to make Chief Onoja Patron was less Herculean considering his evident practical show of support and outstanding contributions to the Christian Community in Kogi State. They stressed that as a valuable asset to his Principal– Governor Yahaya Bello, Chief Onoja has shown unrivaled loyalty and commitment to work, which helps the Governor to deliver on his electoral promises to the people.

Responding, Chief Onoja referenced separate biblical verses of 1 Chronicles 12:22, and Joel 2:1-11, excerpting the unique distribution of roles to members described as “armies” in the collective responsibilities to the Body of Christ, in the fervent human pursuit of the Kingdom Assignment on earth.

He counseled the graduands not to compromise on their God-given assignments on their various earthly roles, charging them to remain worthy ambassadors of the School. He appreciated the School for bestowing on him the great honor, saying such recognition will motivate him to further put in his best in service to humanity.

Highlights the Ceremony was an Academic Procession, conferment of Honorary Award on Chief Onoja as Patron, Convocation Addresses, Award of Certificates, amongst others.
