2023 Presidency: Groups in Jigawa, Kano rally support for Yahaya Bello

… Urge him to accept the call by Nigerians to join the 2023 race.

A Coalition of Yahaya Bello Supporters Organization in Jigawa state on Saturday flagged off its grassroots mobilization as part of activities to further gather momentum in support of the several calls made on Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello to contest for the 2023 presidential seat.

Speaking during a town hall meeting on Saturday, the group reiterated their passion and continued support for Governor Yahaya Bello to emerge as President in 2023, stating that he would achieve great feet of achievements in the entire country

The group affirmed that in areas of Youth empowerment, development, security, gender inclusiveness, education and others, the governor has stamped his trademark of good governance in Kogi state, hence same would be effected in all parts of Nigeria when elected as president.

Governor Bello who was represented at the inauguration by his Chief of Staff, Pharmacist Abdulkareem Mohammed Jamiu Asuku, thanked the Coalition for their continued support and push, assuring them that the faith being placed in the Governor was not misplaced.

He assured them also that Gov. Yahaya Bello was a leader who doesn’t forget those who stood for him, and would not forget all they were doing out of their own volition to see Nigeria achieve it’s potential.

Similarly, the Rescue Nigeria Mission (RenMiss) in Kano has emphasized that Governor Yahaya Bello was the needed unifier to lead the country hence their call on him to become president in 2023.

Speaking on behalf of the group, the coordinator of the movement in Kano, Abdul Amat Maikwashewa said Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State has contributed immensely to the development of Youth in Nigeria by drawing them closer to his government and making people oriented policies for their benefit.

Maikwashewa said they came up with the idea of presenting Yahaya Bello as Presidential Candidate by going to him directly in order to lure him into the 2023 presidential poll.

Also representing the Governor at the event was his Chief of Staff, Pharm. Abdulkareem Mohammad Jamiu Asuku, who at the special occasion called on clergymen both Muslim and Christians to preach messages that would aid the country’s peaceful co existence and by supporting, endorsing leaders with visions and good plans for our country’s development, rather than giving support based on sentiments and greed.

Pharm. Asuku called for more vigorous Youth’s participation in politics especially in the next election and beyond, noting that they had the most populous demography and were mostly affected by the consequences of bad leadership.
