2023: Senator Jibrin Isah Echocho wins APC Senate ticket in Kogi
A sitting Senator representing Kogi East Senatorial District, Jibrin Isah, popularly known as Echocho, has won the All Progressives Congress, APC, senatorial ticket for his second term bid.
Echocho pulled 472 votes to beat his rival, Yahaya Audu , who got only 6 vote. One vote was declared invalid.
