Benjamin Atomode becomes RAN Ambassador of Anti Social Vices

The Kogi State conference of the Royal Ambassador of Nigeria, a body of the Nigerian Baptist Convention under the Men Missionary Union (MMU), which promotes an innovative, values-based approach to peace building, has conferred on Benjamin Atomode also known as Lord Bishop, the status of Ambassador of Anti Social Vices.

Lord Bishop is a Multi-award-winning gospel artist, public servant and a passionate community developer.

At a ceremony held in First Baptist church, Lokoja on Monday, the leader of RAN Kogi Baptist Conference, Councilor Ajani Jonathan said the ambassadorial status was in recognition of Mr Atomode’s contribution to peace building and societal stability.

He said Lord Bishop is a household name among young people, known for promoting peace and unity, adding that they were happy to have him as an ambassador and key into his network to not only preach against social vices, but also to promote the gospel of peace.

Responding, Benjamin Atomode said he was elated to be so honored with the title which he said is a call for higher responsibility. He said “I gladly accept the honour and commit to ensuring the gospel of war against social vices is spread across the World starting with schools here in Kogi State” .

He appreciated the Nigerian Baptist Conference for the great responsibility and honour.
