Day 1: Lovers of GYB-CEDO feed less privilege to mark CEDO @48 (photos)

To mark the Deputy Governor’s 48th birthday, a group of people from various tribes and friends of GYB-CEDO gathered to express gratitude and to also congratulate Chief Onoja on his new age.

The GYB-CEDO group took to the streets to donate food and relief materials to the less privileged as part of the three-day activities commemorating Chief Onoja’s 48th birthday.

The group left smiles on the faces of children and adults living around Paparanda Square and Anguwan Kurah area as they shared food materials.

Highlight of the event witnessed the chanting and singing of Happy Birthday songs to the Deputy Governor by Children around the Anguwan Kurah community.

In the words of Omele Williams, a member of the group, he thanked God for Chief David Onoja’s life and also noted that the life of the Deputy Governor has been one of impact and a tremendous blessing to all and sundry.”

Williams stated that the donation of food to the less privileged was largely a show of support to continuously show this love we are witnessing today.
