Yobe ACReSAL Team in Kogi To Understudy State’s Achievements

The Kogi State office for the Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes (ACReSAL) Project for Nigeria has received a delegation from ACReSAL office from Yobe State.
The ACReSAL team from Yobe State, on the approval of the World Bank, is in the State to understudy the performance of Kogi ACReSAL, formally NEWMAP, on the achievements achieved under the administration of Gov. Yahaya Bello.
The Yobe Team arrived the State yesterday, would understudy how the Kogi State ACReSAL, formerly NEWMAP was able to do well and to achieve outstanding achievements that caught the attention of the World Bank.
The Yobe Team will use the visit to learn how the Kogi State office for ACReSAL was able to perform to the admiration of the World Bank in project execution.
The Kogi State ACReSAL, formerly NEWMAP is adjudged by the World Bank to have made unprecedented achievements in project execution, an effort under the leadership of Gov. Bello that saw the intervention and project execution by NEWMAP now ACReSAL receiving accolades.
The ACReSAL team from Kogi and Yobe State will tomorrow visit project sites for inspection of ACReSAL projects executed under the leadership of Gov Yahaya Bello.
Receiving the Yobe Team, the Kogi State Commissioner For For Environment, Hon. Victor Adewale Omofaiye described the feat achieved by the Kogi State ACReSAL as a product of dogged determination of Gov. Yahaya Bello. The Commissioner assured that the visit will be rewarding, promising that the Kogi State ACReSAL is resolved to doing more in the coming years.
Speaking on the development, the Kogi State Project Coordinator, ACReSAL, Barr. Ladi Jatto, described the visit by the Yobe Team as commendable, said the visit will be used by the Yobe Team to learn and for peer review mechanism by the two states.
