Pharm. Asuku Extends Eid-il-fitr Greetings to Muslims

Pharm. Abdulkareem moh’d Jamiu Asuku, the Chief of Staff to the governor of Kogi State, has extended his warmest greetings to Muslims around the world, on the completion of the Ramadan fast and celebration of Eid-il-fitr.

In a statement made available to the media, the Chief of Staff expressed his heartfelt wishes for a happy and blessed Sallah celebration, and urged all Muslims to continue to uphold the candle of piety and faith in their lives as they have done throughout the holy month.

“As we mark the end of the holy month of Ramadan and the beginning of the Eid al-Fitr celebration, I extend my warmest greetings and best wishes to all my fellow Muslims in Kogi State and the world at large, I pray that almighty Allah accepts our month-long fasting, repentance and prayers.

“May Allah bless you and your families with health, happiness, and prosperity, and continue to bring us all closer to our faith.

Pharm Asuku, also emphasized the importance of using the festive period to reflect on the values of compassion, generosity, and unity that are central to the Islamic faith, and to reach out to others, especially those who are less fortunate or in need of assistance.

“As we celebrate this joyous occasion, let us remember the teachings of Islam, which call upon us to be kind, compassionate, and generous towards others, and to seek peace and harmony in our communities, let us use this opportunity to strengthen our bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood, and work together towards building a better and more equitable society for all.”
