NewLife Gospel Church: Pastor Femi Calls for Restoration of Love
The resident pastor of NewLife Gospel Church, Sarkin-Noma, Pastor Olorunfemi Ojo has called on christians in the world over to strive to return to their first love as Christ has taught the church from the beginning.
Pastor Ojo , speaking on the topic, “Brotherly Love”, took his Bible reading from the Holy Book of the Bible, Romans chapter twelve and verses nine and ten, admonishes the congregation to show love towards God and their fellow humans, emphasizing that the language of God is love and the christian foundation must be built on it.
The cleric noted that a Christian who do not show love to his or her neighbor has left the commandments of God the Father as He exhibited His love when He gave His son to die for mankind on the Cross of Calvary.
In his call for repentance, Pastor Ojo encouraged christians to practicalize love, allow God’s love flow through them as well as learn the act of love so that the world can be a better place for everyone.
The cleric expressed worries that the level of dacadense in the society today is a proof that the subject of love is missing in our homes, offices, schools and the society at Large, adding that if one posseses the spirit of love, such will lose the appetite to harm the other neighbor.
He called on the church to do better in changing the negative tide and show love at all times to make God proud and do His commands.
