Kogi Guber: Pharm Asuku charges YBN on grassroots mobilization, sensitization

The Chief of Staff to the Governor of Kogi State, Pharm. Abdulkareem Mohammad Jamiu Asuku, on Thursday received members of the Kogi State chapter of the Yahaya Bello Network (YBN) in his office in lokoja.

While speaking on behalf of members of the support group, the chairman, Alhaji Ibrahim Haruna, commended the Chief of Staff, affirming their belief in his capacity and determination to work hard and bring great results to any task he’s given. He also espoused the readiness of the group to work hard to bring in victory for the Kogi State APC governorship candidate, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo in the forthcoming general elections.

Pharm. Asuku thanked them for their continued loyalty and steadfastness in working towards the progress of the people.

He urged them to draw up strategies that would help guide the group towards the actualization of the goal to assure victory for the APC candidate as the strategies will serve as a roadmap in helping to navigate the path ahead, as campaign commence earnerstly.

Pointing out that strategies alone were not enough, the Chief of Staff urged the group to harness the power of grassroots mobilization. He stated that grassroots movements have historically being integral in amplifying voices and bringing together diverse perspectives that serve to foster unity, as through grassroots mobilization they can build a formidable force capable of pushing the cause towards victory.

Pharm. Abdulkareem urged them to organize town hall meetings which will help in educating the people towards understanding Alhaji Usman Ododo and what he stands for, which will ultimately lead to more people embracing him as a leader who will work for their progress and consolidate the good works of Gov. Yahaya Bello.

He urged the group to remain unwavering in their commitments and unyielding support for the candidate as this will lead to the growth of the state and creation of opportunities for generations to come.
