BIRTHDAY: Friends of CEDO distributes cash, other items to patients in hospital
As part of activities to mark the 49th birthday of the Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Chief Edward Onoja, friends of the celebrant and members of the Grace Clan visited the state specialist hospital in Lokoja, and presented cash and some other gift items to patients on behalf of the celebrant.
The delegation which was led by the Clan leader, Benjamin Atomode also known as Lord Bishop, visited wards in the hospital to present the token amidst prayers and well wishes for the celebrant.
Atomode said the visit was their way of celebrating the birthday of a friend Chief Onoja whom he described as acompassionate, God-fearing leader who has help to uplift the lives of many. He said they decided to visit the hospital to share with the sick and offer prayers for their quick recovery because it is the usual practice CEDO.
In appreciation, excited patients and their caregivers felicitated with the celebrant Chief Edward Onoja and prayed for him for long life, good health and more prosperity.
Earlier, the team paid a visit to the Chief Medical Director of the hospital, Prof. Isah Yahaya, in his office. The CMD also felicitated with the Deputy Governor and commended his friends for the noble gesture of reaching out to the sick.
