Chief David Oni Thanks Gov Bello for Grading Mornach
A Chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC,) in Kogi State, Chief (Engr) David Oni Sunday, has commended governor Yahaya Bello, for elevating the traditional ruler of Irunda Ile town from non-graded level to 3rd class status.
HRH, Oba David Alasi Gbayero, the Alasi of Irunda Ile town in Yagba East Local Government was among the traditional rulers in Kogi State that Governor Yahaya Bello recently elevated.
Hon David Oni who is also the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Industries and Productivity, said the elevation of the stool was long overdue as it has remained non-graded since creation.
He thanked governor Bello for breaking the jinx and correcting what he termed an anomaly and congratulated the Monarch and the entire community of Irunda Ile for the new glory.
Engr. David who is a traditional tittle holder of Bobagunwa of Irunda Ile charged Oba Gbayero to leverage his promotion for the development of the community.
He thanked the Commissioner in charge of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Barr. Ozigi Deedat for his excellent work in ensuring balance in the traditional system of the state.
The SSA praised the Commissioner for Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, Hon. Asiru Idris, who is from the same local government area for his recognition and recommendation.
He also appreciated the local government chairman and all Yagba East APC stakeholders for their efforts.
