Kogi NYCN donates branded car, t-shirts, other campaign materials to Ododo »

The National Youth Council of Nigeria, Kogi State chapter, has donated a car, branded face caps and t-shirts to Kogi state All Progressives Congress, APC, gubernatorial candidate, Usman Ododo.

Presenting the car to Hon. Yakubu Adabenege (Fancy), Ododo’s ally in Lokoja on Friday, the Acting Chairman of Kogi NYCN, Comr. Osiako Sunday, said the gesture was the collective effort of the state executive of the council. He urged the people of the state especially youths to rally round the APC to ensure success in the forthcoming gubernatorial election.

Comrade Osiako said that the youth council is confident that the APC candidate will consolidate on the youths friendly policies and programs of the governor Yahaya Bello administration and has since begun mobilizing young people for the actualization of the mandate.

“We have decided to extend our own hands of fellowship to the APC , especially with people like Ododo and Oyibo as the candidate, we believe that victory is certain”.

Receiving the vehicle and other campaign materials on behalf of the candidate, Hon. Fancy commended the efforts of the youth council in promoting the candidate of the APC. He said that Hon. Usman Ododo has lined up programmes that will enable every citizen contribute to the development of the state, adding that, in building on the foundation laid by Governor Yahaya Bello, young people will play more active roles in his administration.

Mr. Fancy thanked the NYCN Acting Chairman and all his state executives, assuring that that when Ododo is voted into office, Kogi will be moved to the next phase of progress.
