… predicts taking lead roles in the next administration

In a unanimous decision taken by the stakeholders of Eziogu clan and widely accepted by the entire members ahead of November 11 guber, there has been a concrete resolve to support Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo’s candidature considering the remarkable track records of Gov. Yahaya Bello’s administration which deserves consolidations.

The event took place at the Palace of His Royal Highness, Alh Isah Achuja, the Ohi of Eganyi, receiving all members of Ogu clan cutting across nook and crannies of the LGA for the endorsement of Alh. Ododo Ahmed Usman and his Deputy Comr Joel Oyibo Salifu.

HRH, the Ohi of Eganyi, Alh Isah Achuja expressed his delight for the resolution of the entire clan to pitch tent with the All Progressive Congress. He admonished the people of Ajaokuta LGA to be firm in their decision, noting that Alh Ododo is acquainted with problems of Kogi State, hence it will be easy for him to build on the foundation of Alh. Yahaya Bello.

Alh Umar Techo, an APC chieftain who doubles as the leader of Eziogu in Ajaokuta LGA while expatiating numerous factors that tailored their support said, Gov Bello’s exceptional leadership in Kogi has provided a remarkable developmental turnaround.

According to him, Kogi which is a state once plagued by insecurity has become so fertile for peace and various infrastructural development. Such giant strides needs consolidation, he added.

Monarchs from the clan who spoke at the occasions promised to use all spiritual instrumentalities to support the APC candidate. They noted that the Eziogu clan are custodian of Apete stool, a renowned spiritual deity, and other various ancestral deities of the land, hence reiterated their commitments to support the APC candidate vigorously.

Other stakeholders of the clan who speak at the gathering renew their commitments to mobilize eligible voters to ensure bulk votes for Alh Ododo Ahmed Usman ahead of the November 11th gubernatorial election

In a separate remarks, the stakeholders predicted taking lead roles when Alh. Ododo becomes the Executive Governor of the state, adding that their commitment would speak for them to bring such to reality.

They decried the fact that the clan has never occupied any relevant political positions since the creation of the LG, hence solicited for the support of all leaders of the area to enable members of the clan to occupy juicy positions in the incoming administration of Alh Ododo Ahmed Usman

The Ajaokuta APC Chairman, Hon. Yakubu appreciated the overwhelming support of the clan in the last general election and admonished them to come out en mass on election day to cast their vote for the All Progressives Congress, emphasised that the party candidate Alh Usman Ahmed Ododo will never deviate from the amplification of the good blueprints of the APC political party.

Present at the gathering were Hon Kennedy, former Kogi State House of Assembly Speaker, Hon Siyaka Raji, former Ajaokuta LGC Secretary, Hon Balogun Hussein, former Ajaokuta APC Party Chairman, Hon. Nasiru Acbuja among others.
