Kogi 2023: JBest Grassroots Women Connect to mobilize votes for APC candidate »

Ahead of the November 11 governorship election in Kogi State, women group of the All Progressives Congress (APC) under the aegis of JBest Grassroots Women Connect disclosed yesterday that arrangements have been concluded for the mobilization of women voting bloc for the party’s governorship joint ticket of Alhaji Usman Ododo and his running mate, Comr. Joel Salifu.

Speaking at a meeting in Okene yesterday, the patron of the group who is also the Kogi State Accountant General, Hon. Jibrin Momoh, explained that the essence of the group was geared towards boosting the commitment by women towards voting for the APC candidate. He charged the group to achieve the set objective through the mobilisation of women in each of the polling units in the state to ensure that the candidate of the APC emerge victorious in the forthcoming election.

Hon. Jibrin charged women to participate actively in the election, assuring that, if voted in, Ododo would consolidate on the women inclusion policy of governor Yahaya Bello by engaging more women in governance.

The ggroup assured that they will mobilize their structures across all polling units in Kogi State to vote for the APC candidate, Alhaji Usman Ododo.
