Hon. Ali Bello “Atimpo” visits Reference Hospital Okene, clears medical bills of indigent patient
The Chief Medical Director of Reference Hospital, Okene, Prof Solomon Avidime received the Special Assistant on Domestic affairs to Governor Yahaya Bello to the hospital on Friday.
The S.A domestic, Hon Ali Bello aka Atimpo who came on courtesy visit to the hospital expressed satisfaction on the great work His Excellency Gov Yahaya Bello has done in placing such a world-class state of art hospital in the heart of Ebiraland and Kogi state, he also expressed delight on the successful takeoff of medical services by the pioneer CMD whom he described as an illustrious son of the land.
While on the visit, he met a case of one Hadiza Danladi who suffered a developed complications from severe high blood pressure in her first pregnancy at the age of 20. She happened to be an indigent patient whose family was not prepared for such complications but now in dear need of a caesarea section (CS) to be performed quickly.
Luck was on Hadiza side as the visiting guest Hon. Atimpo paid for her surgery bills, she was operated and successfully delivered of a healthy baby
The CMD Reference hospital Okene, Prof. Solomon Avidime thanked Hon. Atimpo for the timely visit and his support for the hospital.
