Kogi State AG Congratulates Governor Ododo On Successful Inauguration

…Describes Yahaya Bello as the architect of modern Kogi State

Kogi State Accountant-General (AG), Hajia Habibat Oyiza Onumoko has congratulated His Excellency, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for a successful swearing-in ceremony and assumption of office as the 5th democratically elected governor of Kogi State.

She also hailed Kogites for turning out en masse to witness the historic event of the swearing-in that held at the Muhammadu Buhari square, Lokoja, the state capital.

The AG expressed optimism that with the successful swearing-in ceremony, there is renewed hope in the Kogi project.

Her statement, “your acceptance speech offers hope and assured future for the state. There’s renewed hope and assurances in Kogi project. The continuity and consolidation agenda is real and it has come to stay.”

The AG salute the immediate past Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Bello, for his stewardship of Kogi State for the past eight years. She said the former governor was able to place Kogi State on the track that will enhance more growth and development.

“Yahaya Bello while in office brought alot of blessings to the State. He’s the father and the architect of modern Kogi State. Upon completion of his tenures in office, he left Kogi on a track that will enhance more growth and development.”

While pledging her unwavering support and commitments to Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo’s leadership, she expressed confidence that under the new government, the state will experience significant growth and advancement in all sectors.

The AG congratulate the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Folashade Arike Ayoade, the new Chief of Staff to the governor, Alh. Ali Bello and all the Commissioner designates.

She prayed God to fill Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo with wisdom, good health and sound judgement as he pilot the affairs of Kogi State.
