Ofu LGA Transition Chairman observes Juma’at prayers in Ugwolawo, urges patience while anticipating palliative
Hon. Sani Hassan Atawodi joined Muslim faithful on Friday to observe Jumat prayer at the Ugwolawo Central Mosque, headquarters of the Ofu Local Government Area.
Recall that the chairman sacked his political appointment on Wednesday due to some political reasons. He has used the occasion of the prayers to inform the people of Ofu Local Government Area to be calm and ensue peace in the face of uncertainty. He equally praised the maturity of the sacked appointees, and he promised that all issues would be resolved soon.
During the Jumat prayers, the chief imam of the central mosque prays for wisdom and understanding for the chairman and the local government area. He asked the Muslim faithful to be committed to peace and tranquilly in the face of obvious challenges.
The chairman used the occasion to inform the people of Ofu Local Government Area that their own share of the palliatives will soon arrive. He thanked the governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmad Usman Ododo, for the gesture towards the well-being of the local government area.
