Link Your NIN to Benefit from Federal Government NANO Grant, Kogi Govt Urges Citizens
The Kogi state Ministry of Finance, Budget and Economic Planning has informed the general public of the opportunity to benefit from the Federal Government NANO Grant.
In statement signed on behalf of the Commissioner by the Public Relations Officer of the Ministry, Funsho Sumanu, said it is required for the over twenty thousand applicants from Kogi State to link their National Identification Number ( NIN) with their bank accounts to benefit from this grant, adding that only verified applicants will receive SMS.
The Federal Government Presidential Conditional Grant Scheme, PCGS, to empower Nano businesses across the country is a part of Presidential Palliative Programme which offers financial grants, without repayment obligations, to eligible small business owners operating in various sectors such as trading, food services, ICT, transportation, creatives and artisans.
The Kogi State Ministry of Finance, Budget and Economic Planning in its statement upheld the authenticity of the programme, urging all eligible individuals to take advantage of the opportunity by securely linking their NIN to the provided platform, and disregard any misinformation or claims that suggest this is a scam.
He said those who successfully linked their NIN have started receiving alerts of the fifty thousand Naira grant.
