100 Days: Kogi ACReSAL Boss Hails Gov. Ododo for Quality Service Delivery, Impactful Developmental Programmes

The Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes project (ACReSAL) boss, Barr. Ladi Ahmed Jatto OON has commended the governor of Kogi state, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo, for carrying out in 100 days of human capital development programmes aimed at tackling poverty in the state.

Barr. Ladi gave the commendation on Sunday in a congratulatory message to the governor on his 100th day in office.

The ACReSAL boss also hailed the governor for his quality service delivery.

The statement reads: “Your Excellency, it is with great honour and joy that I congratulate you on the commemoration of the 100th day since you were bestowed the mantle of leadership of Kogi State.

“In 100 days, you have demonstrated that politics that delivers service to the people does not have to exclude decency, integrity, and compassion.

“The immediate construction of Zango Road down to Kaduna junction was an astute and yet nuanced indication of your determination to position Kogi State.

“Your decision to resume payment of bursary to Kogi State students studying across different institutions in Nigeria lent proof to your grasp of the need for human capacity development.

“Furthermore, the payment of bursary to the students highlighted your empathy and strategic move to empower families and young people across the state to join the modern and formal economy without which Kogi State cannot emerge as a 21st Century force,” she said.

She stated further: “The distribution of palliatives to the very poor and economically vulnerable people of the state; the increment in salaries of the local government workers; the prompt payment of pensioners, among others, had brought illumination to Gov. Ododo’s purposive personality.

Since his assumption into office in January 2024, Gov. Ododo has held numerous meetings with foreign and private investors in Kogi State while fostering public-private partnerships across industries.

Barr. Ladi also emphasised Gov. Ododo’s efforts in assembling a capable team to administer and run the executive branch. She praised the governor saying “He’s a listening governor; he’s been able to think ahead, and he continues to build. He goes the way that should be able to give the result of what he wants to attain for Kogites according to his manifesto.”

According to Barr. Ladi, Gov. Ododo’s administration is dedicated to addressing key issues such as providing food, shelter, education, and employment opportunities for Kogites.
