Ajaokuta Assembly Member Consoles Parents, CUSTECH Management Amid Students Abduction, Assures of Swift Government Action
In the wake of the recent abduction of students from the Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), a member of the Kogi State House of Assembly representing Ajaokuta Constituency, Hon. Jibril Abu (WisdomBank) has extended heartfelt condolences and solidarity to the affected parents, guardians and the university’s management.
In a statement released, the lawmaker expressed profound empathy towards the families enduring this distressing ordeal.
The abduction, which occurred on Thursday 9th May, has sparked widespread concern across the state. Assuring the community of concerted efforts towards a swift resolution, Honorable WisdomBank conveyed optimism in the ability of Governor Usman Ododo to address the situation expediently.
“The safety and well-being of our students remain paramount, and we are confident that the government will leave no stone unturned in ensuring the safe return of the abducted students.
WisdomBank urged for enhanced security measures and proactive strategies to safeguard educational institutions across the state. He called for collective work towards fortifying Schools and Communities against such reprehensible acts, stressing the imperativeness of sustained collaboration between the Government, Security Agencies, and Local Communities in tackling the menace of insecurity.
