Comrade Abdullahi Adamu Praises Lokoja Youths for Abstaining from Ongoing Nationwide Protest »

The All Progressives Congress Chairmanship Aspirant of Lokoja Local Government Area Comrade Abdullahi Adamu has hailed the youths in Lokoja Local Government and Kogi State in general for choosing alternative channels of engaging with government.

Comrade Abdullahi Adamu in a social media post described the loss of lives and wanton destruction of properties that characterized the protests as avoidable. “In hindsight, we are better for it as Kogi is not witnessing the violent protest across the country that is causing harm, loss of lives, disruption of social life and damage to both private and public properties.”

The former Caretaker Chairman of Lokoja LGA commended the Kogi State Governor for ensuring that Kogi State Youths are not used by external sponsors to cause havoc. “We must acknowledge that in Kogi State, the younger generation have continuously been given pivotal roles in governance and a place in the decision making table hence the overwhelming confidence in His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo.”

“Deploying a transparent and inclusive approach, the Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo government has made it easy for youths to engage in constructive and respectful dialogue with the government and society.”

The former Council Boss calls on Youths to continue to tow the path of Peace and constructive dialogue over confrontations.
