Hon. Jibril Abu Congratulates Governor Ododo on Supreme Court Victory »

The lawmaker representing Ajaokuta Constituency in the Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Jibril Abu (WisdomBank), has extended his warm congratulations to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo following his decisive victory at the Supreme Court. The ruling, which was delivered last Friday, affirmed Governor Ododo’s election as the legitimate governor of Kogi State, effectively ending months of legal disputes that had followed the governorship election.

In a statement issued, Hon. Abu expressed his joy over the outcome of the Supreme Court judgment, describing it as a victory for democracy and the people of Kogi State. He lauded the judiciary for upholding the will of the people, noting that the ruling reaffirms the independence and integrity of Nigeria’s judicial system.

“Governor Usman Ododo’s victory at the Supreme Court is not just a personal triumph but a victory for all Kogites who believe in justice, fairness, and the democratic process. The people have spoken through their votes, and today, the highest court in the land has echoed their voice,” Hon. Abu stated.

The Ajaokuta lawmaker further stressed that his constituents should expect full fledged governance now after these periods of unhealthy distractions in the court by detractors who saw no good in accepting defeat. He emphasized that the time for political rancor is over, and what the state needs now is development, and progress.

“Now that the legal battles are behind us, it is imperative that we all rally around Governor Ododo to ensure the continuation of the good work his administration has started. Kogi State is poised for greater heights, and it is our collective responsibility to contribute to its growth,” Hon. Jibril Abu added.
