Nigeria At 64: Hon Fanwo Felicitates With President Tinubu, Gov Ododo, Kogites, Nigerians

The Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon. Kingsley Femi Fanwo has congratulated Kogites and Nigerians as the country commemorates her 64th Independence anniversary.

Hon Fanwo gave this felicitation in a congratulatory message released today, 1st October, 2024.

The Hon Commissioner likened Nigeria to unrefined gold that needs to pass through rigorous processes, which includes excessive heat, before it can come out pure, lovable and cherished, urging the citizenry to give more time to Mr President, Governor Ododo and other leaders as he believes the future which is not far from now is very bright.

“As we celebrate our strength, reach natural resources, attractive cultural heritage, diversity and oneness together, I enjoin the citizenry to have a strong belief in the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, as they mean well for the nation and Kogi State respectively. It is expedient that we throw our maximum support towards them. With our cooperation and support, they will succeed.

Gold, one of the most valuable mineral resources, does not exist in its purest form naturally. The metal is extracted from its ores, which are mined from the earth. The gold obtained after the mining process isn’t pure. It is mixed with many impurities that need to be removed, which is done through the refinement process. Pure gold put in the fire comes out of it pure and loved by everyone. Nigeria is likened to unrefined gold that needs to pass through excess heat to be refined if we are not to deceive ourselves.

I therefore encourage everyone to give the Mr. President, His Excellency, and other leaders more time as we expect a brighter future, which is not far from now,” Hon Fanwo urged Nigerians.

He encouraged the citizens to continue to pray for the leaders, praying that unity, peace, and tranquillity would continue to reign.
