Kogi LG Polls: Women Affairs Commissioner, Hon. Fatimah Momoh Attributes Large Turnout To Gov. Ododo’s People Friendly Policies

The commissioner for women affairs and social development, Hon. Fatimah Momoh has commended Kogi state governor, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo for the large turnout of voters as witnessed in the local government election currently holding across the state.

Hajia Fatimah acknowledged the grassroot-friendly policies of the Governor as being instrumental to not just the large turnout of voters but the peaceful, free and fair exercise as being reported across the entire Kogi state.

Speaking with newsmen shortly after casting her vote at her polling unit in Eika Ohizenyi, Hon. Fatimah commended the good people of Eika in partcular for their orderly conduct while she lauded the entire Okehi people for their large turnout across the local government council.

The commissioner noted that “Throughout our campaign, we promised not to leave any stone unturned and the result is what you’re seeing today.

“I want to thank the people of Eika and Okehi for their peaceful conduct and I want to thank our Governor, His Excellency Alhaji Usman Ododo for making the process easy for us through his people-friendly policies that has brought people out in this large number for the election”, she submitted.

Hon. Fatimah reinstated her assurance of victory for the candidates of All Progressives Party (APC) across the 21 local government areas of the state.
