Complete List of Newly Elected Council Chairmen, Their Deputies in Kogi State
On October 19, residents of Kogi State came out to vote for the next set of representatives that will govern them at the grassroot level.
It was an election that was devoid of controversy as many adjudged it to be one of the most peaceful and credible exercise in recent years. The All Progressives Congress (APC) emerged victorious sweeping all the 21 LGAs of the state.
Announcing the final results, late Saturday night, the chairman of the Kogi state Independent Electoral Commission, (KOSIEC) Mamman Nda Eri, commended the people of the state for the peaceful conduct of the polls.
The Commission chairman noted that results had earlier been declared on the field by the various Local Government returning officers for the election.
