Governor Ododo Commends Comr Ameh Williams on Security, Urges Sustained Effort
The Chairman of Olamaboro Local Government Area, Comr Ameh Williams, has received commendation from the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, during a meeting at the State Government House in Lokoja.
The meeting, held on Wednesday, focused on advancing security, development, and prosperity within the local government area.
Governor Ododo praised Comr. Williams’ outstanding leadership and commitment to security. His efforts were particularly praised following the successful rescue of 11 Cameroonian tourists and staff of Zuma Engineering Company, who were kidnapped along the Echechele-Igah-Ejule Road last week. This acknowledgment reaffirms his dedication to safeguarding lives and property in Olamaboro.
According to the Chief Press Secretary to the Chairman, Itodo Denis Zak, the closed-door meeting between the council chairman and the governor covered critical issues of security reinforcement, reconnection of Olamaboro to the national power grid, construction of the Ibana-Inwa and Imane township roads, agricultural development and expanded training opportunities for residents.
He added that Olamaboro Local Government Council remains optimistic about the positive outcomes of this meeting and looks forward to strategic partnerships that will drive lasting development and economic progress for the local government and Kogi State as a whole.
