The Kogi State Auditor General for Local Government, Hon. Yakubu Adabenege Siyaka, has extended his heartfelt felicitations to Muslims in Kogi State, Nigeria, and across the world as they commence the holy month of Ramadan.

In a statement issued on Saturday, Siyaka described Ramadan as a sacred period of spiritual renewal, devotion, and self-discipline. He emphasized that the holy month serves as a reminder of the values of patience, compassion, and sacrifice, urging Muslims to embrace these principles while deepening their faith and relationship with Almighty Allah.

“Ramadan is a period of immense blessings, where we are reminded of the values of patience, compassion, and sacrifice. It is an opportunity to strengthen our relationship with Almighty Allah, seek His mercy, and extend kindness to those in need,” he stated.

The Auditor General also called on Muslims in Kogi State to use the holy month as an opportunity to pray for the state’s continued progress, security, and prosperity under the leadership of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo. He encouraged them to uphold the principles of peace, unity, and brotherhood, which are fundamental to Islam.

“May this Ramadan bring us closer to Allah’s infinite mercy, grant us strength in faith, and bless our homes and communities,” he added.
