RAMADAN: Ankpa Council Chairman Felicitates Muslims, Urges Good Virtues

Hon. Engineer Ademu Muhammed Yahaya, the Executive Chairman of Ankpa Local Government has felicitated with the Muslim community in the local government area upon the beginning of holy month of Ramadan.
In a congratulatory message through his Chief Press Secretary, Idris Mohammed Omale (Orator), the Council Boss entreated the faithful to embrace the good virtues of perseverance, unity and love as implanted in the holy month for the purpose of communal peace and development.
According to him, ‘I am overwhelmed to extend warmest felicitation to the Muslim community in Ankpa local government on the commencement of the holy month of Ramadan.
‘As we welcome this blessed month, I urge all Muslims to embrace the virtues of Ramadan, which include compassion, self-discipline, and largesse.
‘As we observe the daily fast, let us remember the less privileged and the vulnerable in our society. We must strive to make a positive impact on their lives through acts of benevolence.’
Engineer Ademu further implored the Muslim brothers and sisters to indulge the advantage of the spiritual opportunities presented by Ramadan while praying that the holy month offer the privilege to recharge spiritual strength, seek forgiveness, and renew commitment to faith.
‘On behalf of Ankpa local government, I wish all Muslims a blessed and peaceful Ramadan. May God accept our fasts and grant us His mercy,’ he conjectured.
