FAIWO Founder Bags Award of Excellence »

The founder of Folashade Ayoade Initiatives for Widows and Orphans (FAIWO), Pastor (Mrs) Folashade Ariko Ayoade, PhD, has been honored with an Award of Excellence by the National Association of Kogi State Students (NAKOSS NATIONAL), the apex student body in Kogi State.

According to the National President of NAKOSS, Comr. Jeremiah Elupko, MB;BS, the award recognizes and appreciates Mrs. Ayoade’s unwavering commitment to the welfare of Kogi State students. Her efforts complement the Kogi State Government’s student-centered initiatives, making a significant impact on the lives of young scholars.

“This Award of Gratitude is to further encourage Mrs. Ayoade, who is currently serving as the Secretary to the Government of Kogi State (SGS), to sustain her dedication to humanitarian service at the highest level,” Elupko stated.

Through FAIWO, Mrs. Ayoade has provided academic, financial, and social security support to vulnerable orphans, both within and beyond Kogi State. NAKOSS, as the foremost student welfare association in the state, found it necessary to honor her selfless contributions towards the upliftment of indigent students.

Receiving the award on her behalf, Hon. Abraham Jacob described Mrs. Ayoade as a mother to all, who neither discriminates nor hesitates to go the extra mile for the good of society. He recalled how he personally benefited from her benevolence during his undergraduate years, emphasizing that she is a virtuous mother, a disciplinarian, and an exceptional administrator.

He further encouraged young girls to look up to Mrs. Ayoade as a role model in their educational and career aspirations. Expressing confidence in her continued impact, he noted that this award would serve as further motivation for her to keep transforming lives.
