May Day: Kogi CoS Ali Bello Commends Workers’ Role in State Development

The Chief of Staff to the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ali Bello, has extended warm felicitations to the workers of the state on the occasion of the 2025 Workers’ Day, acknowledging their strong dedication and pivotal role in the state’s development.

In a statement released in Lokoja, Alhaji Bello lauded the resilience and commitment of Kogi State’s workforce, emphasizing their integral contribution to the effective implementation of government policies and programs.

“Our workers are the backbone of our administration’s success. Their steadfast dedication and professionalism have been instrumental in driving the state’s progress,” he stated.

Highlighting the administration’s commitment to workers’ welfare, Alhaji Bello reiterated that the government, under Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, remains steadfast in its efforts to enhance the well-being of civil servants. He pointed to ongoing initiatives aimed at improving working conditions and ensured timely remuneration.

“We recognize the challenges faced by our workforce and are actively working towards creating a more conducive environment that fosters productivity and job satisfaction,” he added.

Alhaji Bello also commended the collaborative efforts between the government and labor unions, noting that such partnerships are vital for addressing workers’ concerns and achieving mutual goals.
